Since I’ve created this new field of Happiness Psychiatry™, which combines Eastern and Western philosophies in the treatment of mood disorders, I’ve had to learn to fully embrace my unconventionality, my spirituality, my intuition, and my unique feminine ideals and ideas. This hasn’t been easy to do, especially in a staid, stodgy field like medicine, where the wheels of change are very slow to turn. But I’m still at it, and I’m excited to be creating something new.
